Synopsis
Joe Orton befriends the reserved Kenneth Halliwell, a similar soul, and the two have an affair after meeting at theater school; Halliwell is older and more reserved than Orton. In contrast to Orton’s growing confidence in himself and his writing, Halliwell experiences growing feelings of estrangement and jealousy, which she subsequently channels into a potentially explosive fury.
