Synopsis
The corrupt company Omni Consumer Products privatizes the police department in post-apocalyptic Detroit after winning a contract from the city government. Street officer Alex Murphy is lured into an armed confrontation with criminal boss Boddicker by the firm in order to test its crime-eradicating cyborgs. The plan is to utilize Boddicker’s body to support their untested RoboCop prototype. However, RoboCop betrays his masters after becoming aware of the company’s evil intentions.
